Bookings (and free talks)

Jake Tawney is available for presentations at parish or diocesan events, including parish missions and retreats.  He has been invited in the past to present on a variety of topics to audiences of all sizes and ages.  Most recently he has spoken on the new translation of the Roman Missal at Dartmouth College and the Theology of the Body at a parish series in central Ohio.

Topics include, but are not limited to: the sacred liturgy, "Mass basics", John Paul II's Theology of the Body, marriage and sacramentally, living the moral life with virtue at the center, catholic education, apologetics, the domestic church, faith and culture, and Catholics in the public square.

Jake is willing to present for very reasonable fees, but basic travel expenses need to be covered.  To help cover these costs, Jake is willing to stay with local families.  For locations that are farther away and therefore require airfare, it is often helpful to book several talks at a few parishes to better spread out the cost of travel.

To book Jake, please send a request to the following email: jtawney At catholicexchange DoT cOm.  In your request, please indicate the date of the event, the location of the event, the nature of the event, and an expected number of attendees.  Include also a requested topic.  You will receive a response within five business days.

To get a better idea of Jake and his speaking style, the following talks are available at no charge online.  They are also available through an iTunes podcast.  These talks are free ... please pass them around.
